Once you're in the main lobby window, you can play for money or you can play free poker games. It would probably be best for beginners to start by playing for fun and learn the game through gaining experience. There is little difference between play money tables and real money tables so the transition should be smooth. After sufficient practice, you'll be ready to play for real money and make your fortune.

After signing up, pick your game and sit down at any table on the play money list. Free play money tables can be found by scrolling down to the end of the table lists in the Main Lobby. These games are highlighted in blue. You can also use Bodog QuickSeat to find play money games. Just choose the play money option in the third step of QuickSeat.
Every new Bodog Poker account gets 1,000 play chips and if your balance falls below 500, you can just add another 1,000 play chips. To add more play chips, click on the My Account tab in the Account and Preferences section and choose Play Money.
